Have you purchased an item that was recommended to you or advertised to be the best? You bought it, took it home and began to use it. Unfortunately, the item did not last very long. The item did not live up to all of the hype. How many of us became angry and wanted to sue for false advertisement? Be honest.
There are many uncertainties in life but we can be certain of this one thing - regardless as to what we go through as an individual or as a church - we will remain. We have not been made to fail or to live life in defeat. We are a victorious people.
It is amazing today that so many Christians live life as victims. Yes, we go through difficulties in life. We face hardship, grief, disappointments, sorrows and so on. Yet, we do not to allow these things to affect us. We can rise above them and live victoriously.
If we have the power of the Holy Ghost living inside of us then we have the power to overcome; to rise above every obstacle that may stand in our way.
I believe, though, that the reason so many Christians do not live in victory is because we fail to fullly understand who we are. There are many who suffer with a horrible disease; it's caled spiritual identity crisis.
I encourage you to study how the Lord feels toward us; study His love and concern for us. In doing so, I believe that we will receive a better perspective on our relationship with the Lord.
